Calling on all physicians from US who trained in India to support undergraduate medical education in palliative care at their alma mater.

Awareness campaign

Palliative care is available to less than 4% of those who need it in India. The National Medical Council has now required that palliative care principles be taught at the 751 medical schools in India. However, there are not faculty experts in Palliative Care at most of the medical schools.

Pallium India has built a curriculum to “train the faculty/trainer” and has trained faculty at 100 medical colleges. Now, Pallium India needs more medical school faculty to enroll in this  free training.

 

 

Physicians trained in India are in a unique position to are in a unique position to contact their alma mater and their batch mates on medical faculty to recommend Pallium India’s online training. 651 colleges to go!
