The education committee supports educational efforts of the Pallium India staff through
- Reviewing of grant proposals
- Finding faculty for direct teaching
- Reviewing teaching materials.
Pallium India teaches virtually and in person to a variety of health disciplines and other stakeholders
- Nurses
- Physicians
- Social workers
- Caregivers
- Volunteers.
There are new initiatives to have “Train the trainer” workshops to ensure that medical school faculty are equipped to teach about palliative care AND to expand the reach of palliative care for all the states and territories of India.
